The Challenge

Goal: Complete four tasks commonly faced by ROVs used in underwater exploration.

Maneuvering Exercise (3 min):

Maneuver through a series of obstacles(Hula Hoops).

1 point per hoop


Coral Reef Restoration (4 min):

Transplant coral species from one location to another designated location.


Specimen Collection (4 min):

Collect Schworocotopus from the benthic environment


Oil Well Repair (3 min):

Protect the environment by plugging a busted pipe from an oil rig.
Pick up the oil well cap and place cap completely on leaking oil pipe.
